Nixon-Smiley boys, girls golf nears District play

Nixon-Smiley High School boys and girls golf teams participated in the Cougar Invitational at the Ft. Sam Golf Course this past week. The boys’ team teed off March 24 and the girls’ team played on March 26. The boys tackled the La Loma course while the girls played the Salado side; both sides of the course present their own challenges, including tricky hazards, challenging distances, and tough greens.
