Poth throwers advance to Area

Poth High School hosted the District track meet April 2-3. The Poth discus team got busy on day one, April 2, by making a clean sweep and securing first, second, and third places. Placing first, second, and third, respectively, were Pirates Aiden Reed, Larson Dziuk, and Ryan Antuna. All three boys will advance to compete in the Area track meet Thursday, April 10, at Rice Consolidated. Reed and Dziuk will also compete at Area in the shot put event, after Reed took first place and Dziuk placed fourth in shot put at the District meet. Congratulations!
