County Democrats to host candidate meet-and-greet
The Wilson County Democratic Party is hosting a Floresville City Council candidate meet-and-greet on Thursday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wilson County Justice Center, 800 10th St. in Floresville. The candidates will present a brief biography outlining their experience and vision for the city, and they will be available to answer questions in an informal setting. The following candidates have confirmed their attendance: •Place 3 — Jake Lamberth, Jacob “Jake” Thompson and Jessica Rodriguez- Green •Place 4 — Frances Flores and Beatrice Ximenez-Marroquin •Place 5 — Donald Scee.
