Floresville Food Pantry invites the community to its first Derby Day on Saturday, May 3, at the Floresville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 1205 B St. in Floresville. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served. A prize drawing and silent auction will be available. Prizes will also be awarded for best hat, best dressed, and best decorated table. Tickets are per person or 0 for a reserved table of eight tickets. For more information, call 830-393-2425.
