JV Maroon Tigers overtake Mavericks

The Floresville High School junior varsity Tigers maroon baseball team hosted the Pearsall Mavericks April 8. The evening was a perfect way to end the perfect day. The Mavericks batted first and mustered 2 runs in their half of the inning, but the Tigers tied up the score and added 2 more, bringing the score to 4-2 Tigers. The next inning, the Tigers closed the door on the visitors while managing to bring in one more run in the Tigers’ at-bat. In the next inning, the two teams held each other at bay.
