Nixon-Smiley powerlifter Cesar Vazquez is National Champion

Nixon-Smiley senior powerlifter Cesar Vazquez attended the NASA High School National Championship Meet in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, April 5. This marks his fourth year competing and his final meet as a high school student, as he will graduate next month. Cesar had an incredible meet, squatting 380 lbs., benching 270 (setting a new national record), and deadlifting 365 for a new personal record total of 1,015 lbs. in the 123 lbs. weight class.
