Lady Mustangs defeat Lady Brahmas, fall to Lady Eagles

The Nixon-Smiley Lady Mustangs softball team hosted the Stockdale Lady Brahmas April 8 and secured an exciting 5-4 victory. It was a total team effort by the Mustangs, and senior catcher Hailee Houseton had an amazing game, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBIs, and one double. Junior Sadie Walden recorded her first hit of the season. The Lady Mustangs traveled to Luling April 11 for their second matchup of the season with the Lady Eagles.
