Children's coloring contest
The Wilson County News/La Vernia News is having a children’s coloring contest. Children ages 3-13 can enter by coloring the picture supplied in the weekly newspaper. A prize will be awarded for three age groups. Winners will also be published in the newspaper. Pictures will be posted for the public at the Jane Yelvington McCallum La Vernia Library as well. Bring or email the colored picture, along with the form, to the La Vernia News, c/o Jane Yelvington McCallum La Vernia Library, 112 E. Chihuahua St., La Vernia, TX 78121. Deadline to enter is May 2.
