Local writer Mrs. Julia Castro visits Floresville Musical Club

The sounds of lively Irish music welcomed the ladies of the Floresville Musical Club to the March11 meeting held in the Floresville United Methodist Church Hall. The theme of St. Patrick’s Day was carried out with tables adorned with shamrock table toppers, gold coins, green and gold garland, a cute leprechaun, and a jaunty green hat. An Irish Welcome, which had been quoted by President Barbara’s great-aunt in December 1976, was displayed on the sign-in table.
