Found -- missing La Vernia man

La Vernia police Chief Donald Keil has advised that Ruben Herrera, 50, missing from La Vernia since the weekend, has been located this afternoon in San Antonio and will be picked up by the San Antonio Police Department. Herrera’s car was discovered abandoned behind the Sonic drive-in on U.S. 87 around 9 p.m. Sunday night.  La Vernia Police Department mounted a search effort today, April 15, to search the brushy area along the Cibolo Creek across the highway from Sonic.
