Early voting starts today in area school board, school bond, city elections

Early voting begins today, April 22, in the May 3 general elections, and continues through Tuesday, April 29. On the ballot for Wilson County-area voters are elections for:  •Floresville City Council — places 3, 4, and 5 •Nixon City Council — three at-large seats •Falls City Independent School District (ISD) — two at-large seats •Floresville ISD — million bond •East Central ISD — 9 million bond •La Vernia ISD — place 3 •Evergreen Underground Water Conservation District (UWCD) — one place for an Atascosa County representative.
