Poth Pirates and Pirettes advance to State track and field meet

Poth High School track and field athletes competed at the Regional championship meet April 18-19 in Seguin. Senior Aiden Reed placed first in discus and second in shot put. He advances to State in Austin in both events. Larson Dziuk placed third in discus and secured the ninth-place wildcard spot, to advance to State by throwing farther than the other three Regions’ third-place throwers.
