Mikesh and Corpus compete at Regionals

Nixon-Smiley High School senior Tristen Mikesh competed April 18 at the Regional track meet at Matador Stadium, in Seguin, in the triple jump event. He finished fourth out of 16, jumping 43’-1/2”. Later in the day, Mikesh and senior Ayanna Corpus competed in the 400-meter run. Neither athlete advanced to the finals but both put forth their best effort.
