Mustangs show resilience despite loss

The Nixon-Smiley varsity Mustangs baseball team faced a tough challenge on Thursday, April 17, against the Poth Pirates, losing 0-10. Despite the loss, the Mustangs demonstrated resilience and strong individual performances that show promise for the remainder of the season. The Pirates jumped to an early lead in the first inning when Austin Simmons singled to score a run.
