COURT UPDATE

The following defendants were among those listed on recent dockets for the 81st District Court in Wilson County: •Derek Miller, 25, of La Vernia originally pleaded nolo contendere (no contest) in October 2019 to six counts of unlawful restraint of an individual under 17 years of age; he was sentenced to five years of deferred adjudication community supervision.
