Learn the history of the District Attorney May 12

Join the Atascosa County Historical Commission on Monday, May 12, at 6:15 p.m., in Pleasanton’s Longhorn Museum for the “Voices of History” Elected Officials Presentation series. The first event of the series, presented by commission Chairman Martin Gonzales, will be “The History of the Office of the District Attorney.” Attendees will learn the origins, evolution, and lasting impact of the District Attorney’s office, from its early roots to its modern-day responsibilities. The event is free and open to the public. The Longhorn Museum is located at 1959 S.H. 97 in Pleasanton.
