Burning inside city limits is against the law
An illegal burn pile blazes inside the Floresville city limits May 6 on S.H. 97 near Alfredo Lane. It is illegal to burn within any city limits at any time, regardless of a county’s burn ban status. For questions, contact the city of Floresville at 830-393-3106, or Wilson County Emergency Management Coordinator Cindy Stafford at 830-393-8573. The Wilson County burn ban remains in place. A temporary lift of the ban ended May 12.
