Remembering the old newspaper building

Jimmy Fietsam visits the Wilson County News May 8 to share a photo of the former Floresville Chronicle-Journal building at 1000 C St. in downtown Floresville. He said the photo was taken when Sam Fore Jr. built the newspaper office in the early 1900s. Jimmy’s parents, Joe and Marjorie Fietsam, bought the newspaper from Fore in 1963 and the family operated it until 2005. Readers are invited to share memories of the past.
