American Legion to host annual picnic May 18

The community is invited to the American Legion Post 539 annual picnic fundraiser on Sunday, May 18, beginning at 10:45 a.m., at 14410 F.M. 1346 in St. Hedwig. Plates will include barbecue brisket and sausage with all the trimmings for . Plates can be enjoyed on site or to go. Desserts will be available for purchase. A silent auction and Bingo will begin at 12:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit area veterans. For more information, email ALpost539@gmail.com.
