Nixon-Smiley senior athletes compete in South Texas All-Star games

Seven seniors represented Nixon-Smiley High School in volleyball, boys’ and girls’ basketball, and football in the South Texas Coaches Association All- Star games this past Saturday, May 17, in Floresville. Hailee Houseton was selected to play for Team Red in the Volleyball All-Star game. Team Red lost to Team Blue, 3-1. Tristen Mikesh played in the boys’ basketball game on Team Red, which won, 82-75.
