Lady Hornets sweep Buda Johnson for spot at State Semifinals

The East Central Lady Hornets varsity softball team has swung through UIL 6A playoffs, playing with tenacity at each level. Last week’s games were no different as the Lady Hornets prevailed against Buda Johnson 2-0. The Lady Hornets defeated the Buda Johnson Jaguars in game one, May 15, in a close 9-8 victory. East Central returned to finish the job on May 16, winning game two, 11- 7, and claiming their spot in the State Semifinals this week.
