Careum Faughtenbery signs with Texas Tech

Stockdale High School’s feature twirler Careum Faughtenbery made Stockdale ISD history by signing with a Division 1 university’s marching band. She was selected by Texas Tech University’s “Goin’ Band from Raiderland” as one of their twirlers for the 2025-2026 school year. Texas Tech’s Marching Band is among the finest bands in the country. It hosts 400+ members and was the 1998 recipient of the prestigious Sudler Trophy as the nation’s top marching band.
