Three Pirates to 'play on' -- with college bands

Poth High School Mighty Pirate Band members (l-r) Averiegh Herrera, Vincent Martinez, and Christian Herrera sign their intent in mid-May to participate in college bands after they graduate. Averiegh will attend the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) where she’ll be a member of the UTSA Spirit of San Antonio Color Guard while she pursues hospitality, event management, and multidisciplinary studies.
