Residents block Block Street proposal

[Video below] FLORESVILLE — “We’ve had long-established single-family homes there … generations of families residing in this area,” Michelle Trevino told the Floresville City Council. “We are a close-knit family fam- neighborhood. We’re trying to keep that.” Many residents of Block Street and the surrounding area in the vicinity of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville attended a May 22 public hearing during the evening’s council meeting, stating their opposition to rezoning of 912 Block Street.
