Lady Hornets complete historic season in State Semifinals

Congratulations to the East Central Lady Hornets softball team for their amazing performance in the playoffs. The team competed in five rounds of the UIL 6A playoffs, defeating Alexander, San Benito, Lake Travis, and Johnson, and claiming a spot in the State Semifinals held May 22-23. Results are as follows: State Semifinals East Central took on Clear Springs in a best-out-of-3 series that was very close. In game one May 22, East Central fell to Clear Springs, 7-8. Game two was another close battle on May 23. East Central ultimately fell, 4-5, closing out an outstanding and historic season. Congratulations!
