FELPS honors scholarship recipients

Floresville Electric Light & Power System board members (back row) honor the utility’s 2025 scholarship recipients May 28 from Wilson County-area schools, including (front, l-r) Jacob Ryan, Falls City High School; Avereigh Herrera, Poth High School; Macie Talley, Jacob Hawn, and Adriette Castellano, Floresville High School; Wade King, Poth High School; and Avery Spencer, La Vernia High School. Also awarded scholarships but not in attendance were Jayden Oliver of Floresville High School, and Kaiden Haecker and Jamila Zepeda of Stockdale High School.
