Wilson County Sheriff's Office celebrates employees

Happy faces surround a table May 29 for a Wilson County Sheriff’s Office employee appreciation celebration. During the event, Chief Deputy Clint Garza recognized 20 of the sheriff’s office’s 83 employees with certificates for their achievements since the beginning of the year. He explained that such awards — based on recommendations from section supervisors — have been made regularly, but not at an event such as last Thursday’s. “We appreciate you,” Garza told the employees. “We don’t say it often enough. … We want to have formal ceremonies more often.”
