Texas Camel Corps to visit the Alamo
Discover the remarkable history of camels at the Alamo on Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Alamo Gardens. Guests are invited to join the Texas Camel Corps and witness this forgotten part of Alamo history when the U.S. Army turned to camels in the 1850s. The event is free and open to the public. Alamo Gardens is located at 300 Alamo Plaza in San Antonio.
