River Bend residents 'Flock' to learn about security

FLORESVILLE — The River Bend subdivision is now home to a Flock license plate recognition (LPR) system, following an uptick in vehicle burglaries and thefts in the golf course community. The security system — which was purchased and installed at the expense of River Bend One Homeowners Association (HOA) — detects and captures license plates and communicates data with local law enforcement.
