Thomas Yingst follows in the footsteps of St. Francis

In the heat of a Texas summer, it’s hard to contemplate a walk that takes you beyond the mailbox. But one Floresville man recently returned from a walk that took him across Italy — 322 miles from Florence to Assisi to Rome — via the Cammino di Francesco, also known as the St. Francis Camino or the Way of St. Francis.
