New scholarship open to arts management students

The Central Texas Philharmonic has announced creation of the Charlotte Barbini Legacy in Arts Management Award, a new initiative aimed at supporting the next generation of arts administrators. This annual scholarship will be open to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in arts management, performing arts administration, or related degree programs at accredited universities throughout Texas. Named in honor of longtime patron of the arts Charlotte Barbini, president of the philharmonic’s board of directors for its first six years, the scholarship reflects her enduring commitment to the sustainability and growth of the arts through strong, visionary leadership behind the scenes....
