Arrest made after Shannon Ridge manhunt for wanted man

A Floresville man faces multiple charges, following a multiagency police pursuit. According to Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Zach Garcia, officers of the Floresville Police Department attempted to make a traffic stop on a white Dodge Dart June 29 near Fifth and Trail streets. The driver failed to stop and fled from law enforcement, traveling north toward Business Loop 181. Patrol Sgt. Amanda Peterson with the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office observed the fleeing vehicle, according to Garcia, and deployed spike strips in an effort to safely stop the vehicle.
