Hill Country roads under water

The Llano River gushes over a road near Ranch Road 1431 near Kingsland July 8, following the devastating July 4 flooding in the Hill Country. Lupe Lerose of La Vernia took this photo; they were visiting friends in Marble Falls when the flooding occurred. This road, like a number of others in the affected areas, is closed until further notice, due to the flooding and damage to roadways and bridges.
