Wilson County approves solar farm tax abatement

A solar farm will soon be under construction in eastern Wilson County. Wilson County Commissioners approved a 10-year tax abatement agreement July 14 with Clear Fork Creek Solar LLC for a 600-megawatt photovoltaic power generation facility on 6,100 acres of land on both sides of U.S. 87 in Precinct 4.
