Praise for FISD retiree

Editor: Re: “Alice Alfaro dedicates 53 years to Floresville ISD,” June 4 I have known [Alice Alfaro] since way back in the early 1990s. She is a hard worker and cares about children, especially special children. Right after she graduated from Floresville High School, she started working as an aide for special children at the Forister Center. She has been very helpful to children and teachers in all these years. Her beloved sister died of cancer and left her two small children — a girl and a boy.
