This recipe for pinto beans comes from Guadalupe D. Salinas, from her cookbook, Jesus Is in the Kitchen with Lupita. A married mother of one from Luling, Lupita said the recipes in her book “are so easy and fast to make.” The book is filled with home-style family fare that can feed a family on a budget.
