Floresville teen dies in rollover crash
A single-vehicle crash on U.S. 181 and Wilson Drive in Floresville July 26 took the life of 18-year-old Edwardo “EJ” Y. Santos Colon. According to the Floresville Police Department, 23-year-old Anthony Miguel Quiles Encarnacion and Santos Colon were traveling northbound in a 2005 Acura TL on U.S. 181 around 2 a.m. at a high rate of speed, when Encarnacion — the driver — veered right into the grassy median near Wilson Drive. Encarnacion overcorrected, causing the four-door Acura to flip onto its right side and overturn several times. The vehicle rolled over the center median cables before coming to rest...
