Floresville Jaguars return

Floresville High School volleyball opened its new season with an exciting home scrimmage Aug. 8. This year’s roster features 15 athletes, including five seniors, four juniors, one sophomore, and five freshmen. More than 50 young ladies competed for spots across all teams during an intense “Midnight Madness” tryout, held from midnight until 6 a.m., earlier in the week. The Jaguars took on Pieper at home on Aug. 12 in a non-district matchup, and will compete in the Pearland Tournament Aug. 14-16.
