Stockdale marshal steps down

The city of Stockdale will be looking for a new city marshal, following an emotion-filled meeting. It was standing room only for the Stockdale City Council’s Aug. 4 meeting, as area residents filed into Stockdale’s Community Building in support of now-former City Marshal John Overstreet, who was placed on administrative leave a week earlier by the city.
