Oversized load gets stuck north of Floresville

A trailer bearing an oversized load is stuck at the junction of F.M. 2579 and F.M. 1303 near Bradley’s Convenience Store northwest of Floresville Aug. 8, after failing to negotiate the sharp turn. According to witnesses, the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene; the vehicle and trailer tore up the asphalt on the roadway, and the junction was closed to traffic while crews worked to rescue the vehicle from its predicament. No injuries were reported.
