Church hosts Holy Hour of Prayer Aug. 24 in St. Hedwig

Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, located at 41011 F.M. 1346 in St. Hedwig, will host a Holy Hour of Prayer Sunday, Aug. 24, beginning at 3 p.m. This prayer service will include recitation of a rosary, exposition of the Eucharist, and various other devotions. The event is open to all. In conjunction with the Hour of Prayer, the San Antonio Archdiocesan Union of Holy Name Societies also will conduct its annual Baby Needs Drive to benefit the Allied Women’s Center.
