Wilson County Democratic Party to host Ground Game Texas

The Wilson County Democratic Party will meet Thursday, Aug. 21, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wilson County Justice Center courtroom located at 800 10th St. (U.S. 181) in Floresville. The speaker will be Catina Voellinger, a Texas-based organizer and the executive director of Ground Game Texas, an organization using local ballot initiatives to expand democracy and build progressive power across the state. She’s a mother, a first-generation college graduate, and a proud product of a working-class, biracial family rooted in Central Texas.
