Kosciusko native earns doctorate

Shary Lyssy Marshall, the daughter of Alvin and Shirly Lyssy of Kosciusko, recently completed her doctoral studies at the University of Kentucky and was awarded a doctorate in Educational Leadership. A graduate of Poth High School, Dr. Marshall attended the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Vermont, and the University of Massachusetts before pursuing her EdD in Kentucky. Marshall’s research focused on how school leaders navigate crisis situations and the role of trust and communication.
