Floresville hosts cross country invitational
Floresville cross country junior varsity and varsity boys and girls gave it their all in Floresville’s invitational Aug. 16 that included 58 schools and 1,200 runners. Results are as follows. Varsity boys, fifth place – Kaden Cypert, fourth; Jack Zarosky, 27th; Joshua Simmons, 29th; Riley Silva, 35th; Ricardo Barajas, 46th; Isaiah Cruz, 56th; and Denny Winton, 66th. Varsity girls, second place – Nora Felan, fourth; Alexis Scott, ninth; Alexis Doege, 11th; Tori Cruz, 18th; Juliana Garza, 23rd; Karra Jones, 30th; and Desiree Benavides, 40th.
