Youth actors invited for Shakespeare auditions

Young thespians in grades 6 through 12 — step into the magical world of Shakespeare! Auditions are set for Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 25-26, in New Braunfels for the Coll Street Players’ fall production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” an abridged and fast-paced version of the Bard’s most enchanting comedy, directed by Shelby Breda. Filled with love triangles, magical mishaps, feuding fairies, and a band of bumbling actors, this hilarious tale whisks audiences into a moonlit forest where nothing is quite what it seems.
