Woman killed in hit-and-run on U.S. 181

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run accident Aug. 15 in which a pedestrian was killed. The accident occurred Friday night on U.S. 181 near Kilowatt and Adkins-Elmendorf roads in Elmendorf at approximately 9:11 p.m. According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was reported to have been crossing the road when she was fatally struck by a red Jeep Wrangler.
