Seven decades haven't dimmed Circle N Ladies Softball teams' spirit

A reunion of the Circle N Ladies Softball teams was held on Aug. 8, for team members who played together seven decades ago, from 1953 to 1958 in La Vernia. The team was sponsored by Fred and Janie Nicholson, owners of La Vernia Feed & Grain, where the team played. Buddy Strey organized the reunion and invited officers of the La Vernia Historical Association to attend.
