Enjoy St. Louis Day in Castroville Aug. 24

Join Castroville’s 143rd annual St. Louis Day celebration on Sunday, Aug. 24, in Koenig Park. The day’s celebration begins with a mass at 9:30 a.m., featuring the Liederkranz Choir, in St. Louis Catholic Church, located at 610 Madrid Street. Church-goers can take a shuttle to the celebration in Koenig Park, but on-site parking is available. In the park, located at 1700 San Jacinto St. in Castroville, barbecue plates can be purchased for from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food and drink booths will also be available, as well as prize drawings and a silent auction.
