Wilson County imposes burn ban, effective immediately

Wilson County is now under a burn ban.     The ban, approved by the Wilson County commissioners Monday morning, is effective immediately.     This is due to prolonged hot, dry weather.     Under a burn ban, outdoor burning of brush, agricultural and construction waste, and other material is prohibited.
