Golden Stars and Honeybees earn multiple awards

Over the summer the East Central High School dance and drill officers attended a three-day camp in San Marcos, hosted by ShowMakers of America. The officer groups made a great first impression and proudly claimed the “Officers of the Day” award. The Golden Stars officers received a sweepstakes plaque for their Division 1 performance and received plaque level for their Camp Dance performance. The Honeybees received a sweepstakes plaque for their Division 2 performances, first place in their varsity level Camp Dance performance, and Grand Champion plaque overall. Both teams earned other awards competing against over 300 officers.
